Thanks very much! I'm probably not the best candidate to make a tutorial on painting since I just...throw rough colors on then spend a long time refining them. If you had specific questions though I can probably answer those! Like brush settings or something.
I use SAI but I'll use photoshop sometimes to adjust colors. I mostly lay down rough colors, and then use the auto contrast feature in Photoshop. I'll try and save some WIP shots on the next one I do, that would maybe help!
As far as brush settings go, I have them posted here: [link]
I use the acrylic brush and the marker tool to lay down rough colors. Then I just refine then with the pen tool. I don't have the settings for the pen tool listed there, but its just the default pen tool set to density and size pressure. BUT YEAH I'll definitely save some WIP shots next time. I had a few saved for this but unfortunately my hard drive crashed so I lost them all haha
Wow okay I assume that by now? you know I love your art ?? ESPECIALLY YOUR PAINTED STUFF UGH it suits your style really well and I think it's just very recognizable and... p...retty....... It's really nice though cause like, it doesn't look like it's someone else's art compared to your work with lineart or cell shading etc, it still looks like yours and I think that's really hard to do? You pull it off really well though heh
And wow I'm sorry but no matter how many times you show me how you do this I don't think I'm gonna understand your colors they're SO GOOD and blend really nicely, it never reads as 'suddenly blue' or anything. I like the little spots of other colors in it too waa I just
